Obstacle Course Races suffered greatly from the Covid-19 pandemic, with many race organisers choosing to shut themselves down. Those that survived are usually smaller in size than they used to be.
These events are often a lot of fun to shoot as the competitors really get into the spirit of the event and they always appear to be enjoying being there, something you can’t always level at 5k / 10k / half marathon runners.
I’d not shot Mud Monsters since 2020 – the last event before Covid, so it was nice to see it back.
