Run Norwich is a favourite event for several reasons.
Firstly its on the doorstep, which means I don’t have to leave the house at 5am – and we’re finished by lunchtime.
Secondly, its a well organised route through the city of Norwich and there is always an enthusiastic crowd cheering on the runners. Its also a 10k race, so some runners are able to blitz the course in a little over half an hour, but the slowest, who may be injured or simply walking the route can complete the course in just over two hours.
The event has grown considerably – there were 6941 finishers – over double the number of the first running in 2015 of 3170 finishers.
