The Classic and Sportscar Club visited Snetterton for their season opener. I was able to attend on the Saturday of the two day meeting.
The following classes were competing
– Pirelli Ferrari Open – including two 458’s
– Pirelli Ferrari Formula Open
– Swinging Sixties
– Future Classics
– Aero Racing Morgan Challenge (I did not cover this series)
– Bernie’s V8s HVRA
– and Jaguar Saloons and XJ-S championship
Pop Star Jay Kay from Jamiroquai was racing (possibly his circuit racing debut?) in a pink Adrian Flux sponsored Porsche 911 shared with Sarah Bennett-Baggs. They qualified 24th out of 38 starters but sadly retired shortly before the end.
