The 2025 Monoposto Championship kicked off with a single day meeting held on the Silverstone International Circuit.
For this event, I had a Canon EOS R3 on loan and I was impressed with its speed and focus accuracy. It doesn’t feel as solid as my EOS 1DX Mk II but is slightly lighter. However, its £ 4,700 plus memory cards and lens adaptors. I’m keen to try the R5 Mk II as well – more megapixels but possibly slower reactions as the R5 uses batteries with a lower voltage than the 1DX and R3.
