The maximum grid permitted for single seaters at Silverstone is 54 cars, or 58 for saloons.    Monoposto combined their two grids into one mega-grid to field a capacity grid at Silverstone.  Seeing 54 cars hurtle from standstill into the first corner is a great sight and they all made it through without any tangles.

Qualifying and race length was increased from 15 minutes to 20, and some didn’t notice this change and fuelled their cars for 15 minutes.

Kevan McLurg took two wins to boost his championship hopes in the 2000 class, whilst 2000 leader Robbie Watts would start towards the back of the grid with electrical faults.    Adrian Wright failed to win both his MotoMono classes, leaving Jason Timms clear at the top.
